Choose your setup

There are two ways that you can use your Holiday Sweater Screensavers.

<aside> ⚙ Method #1 : Profile-based

Using this method, you can simply click on the profile from your downloaded file and you can activate the screensaver at any time with the click of a button!

Profile-based Setup Instructions

1. Open the downloaded Profiles folder

2. With the Stream Deck software open, double click on each Holiday Screensaver profile you’d like to install.

   1. Make sure you are selecting the profile that corresponds to your model of Stream Deck!

3. In the Stream Deck app, drag and drop “Switch Profile” onto an available Stream Deck key.

   

4. Assign the desired profile in the Switch Profile property settings

   

   You can also drag and drop one of the included icons to help identify which screensaver you are selecting!

5. Repeat this process for every screensaver you’d like to setup!

<aside> ⚙ Note : By default, all of the keys within the profile are set to “Next Profile”. If you would NOT like to jump to the next profile in the list after you have enjoyed the screensaver, change this to your preferred profile!

<aside> ⚙ Method #2 : Plugin-based

This method uses the Advanced Screen Saver plugin by Bar Raider. Don’t worry, it’s free! When you use this method, your screensaver will only activate when your computer is locked.

⚠️ Works with Windows only!

Plugin-based Setup Instructions

1. Download the Advanced Screen Saver plugin

2. Once installed in Stream Deck, drag the Advanced Screen Saver Plugin onto a Stream Deck Icon.

3. In the properties, set “Image” to “Choose file”

   1. This should open a browser to select a screensaver on your PC.

4. To set the duration of the screensaver, use the "Stop After" selection.

   1. For example, if you want the screensaver on all the time while the computer is locked, select “Never”.

5. Enjoy!
